MARQUETTE — A Grand Haven man was arraigned last Monday, July 30th, in 96th District Court in Marquette.
20-year-old Brock Anton Stenfors was arrested by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office for motor vehicle – unlawful driving away and failure to stop at scene of a personal injury accident.
On September 8th, 2017, at approximately 12:17am, central dispatch received a 911 call regarding a vehicle crashing into a house on the 600 block of Union Street in the city of Marquette. Through investigation it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen from a residence on Van Evera Ave. Both the residence and the stolen vehicle sustained major damage.
Blood evidence from a possible suspect was collected from the scene as well as witness statements indicating a possible suspect. DNA analysis from the suspect was a match to the blood left at the scene.
